Response to message from Gaston

Please, if not already, post the text to the blog as well... as I plan to post this reply there as well, now.

To answer your question, the site we are proposing is a real location, behind my classroom. There is an open area there. My students are modeling the existing conditions using 3D software so we can begin initial massing and access/space planning ideas. We will upload such images to the blog and you can print them from there so you can sketch on them some of your design ideas.

Some of the images from your book that you made in graduate school may be applicable to this project, so I would be good to post them as well, so we can all see readily some of the characteristics the modular form may have.

Several of us believe it would be nice for the modular kit-of-parts to allow for expansion in the vertical direction. That means we must rely on windows close to the ceiling for daylight, rather than any skylight-type passive illumination.
